TON of Cheese Carving Featured at Local Hy-Vee
Who:
Sarah "The Cheese Lady," a nationally recognized cheese
sculptor and Wisconsin native.
What:
Will jump start March Madness celebrations with a massive, 2,000-pound,
Cheddar cheese sculpture at Madison's Hy-Vee next weekend. The
mammoth cheeses, produced by Henning's of Wisconsin, measure
four feet by 40 inches and will include Bucky Badger, local
high school mascots and a "ton"atiously BIG bovine
basketball player, Bessie.

Why:

Store
visitors will be able to watch Sarah "The Cheese Lady"
live and enjoy one of Wisconsin's best works of art, Wisconsin
cheese, throughout the three-day event. NOTE: Friday will include
cutting the 2,000-pound cheese into sections and Saturday and
Sunday will be the actual carving.

Sarah "The Cheese Lady" - Sarah "The
Cheese Lady" is a nationally recognized cheese sculptor.
Since 1996, she has received hundreds of commissions for her
cheese creations, which have captured countless media impressions.
Kaufmann creates some sculptures in her studios in Cincinnati
and San Diego and also appears in person to sculpt cheese at
a variety of venues: food & wine festivals, supermarkets,
